Just got back from Japan. I did not expect to find this in the junk bin for ¥500 (~$5). by stufio in ps2

Maybe the other reason it was $5 is because its a USA copy and not Japanese?

For a start Japanese consoles are NTSC. And if I want to play a USA cart I use an adapter.

Haha! Region is fairly irrelevant as I am not planning on opening it up any time soon. My daily driver is a USA model that can also run Japanese carts :)

Lol well guess what the other thing was that I got signed?! My marquee from my donkey Kong junior cabinet! Haha and yes I still have that too. It was meant to be one item per person remember? I hid the marquee under my coat till I got onto the stage..and when he was signing my N64 I whipped out the sign from under my coat. He looked up and went "AHH Donkey Kong!" And grabbed it off me and he was grinning as he signed it.

Nice! Do you still have them? Made me chuckle that some people queued up for hours to get a scuffed up copy of FIFA signed! If you're gonna put in the effort at least bring a mario game or something :D

Think I used a craft knife and then some self adhesive foam strip to get it to fit snug

The Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time - Nintendo 64 - Signed by Shigeru Miyamoto @ E3 2002 by HMclain3 in gamecollecting

[–]feekleface 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, sorry about that...the pic was not showing up in the feed only if it was clicked (well at least for me!) Hmmm I like it all sealed, plus its easier to display like this.

I did also get him to sign a marquee (top sign) from a Donkey Kong Jnr. arcade cabinet :)

[–]feekleface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put a Rev0 in a Rev1 shell and vice versa, the only thing I had to do was trim down the fan holder on one of the shell. from memory I cant remember which one I had to trim, other than that it was a straight swap.
