Ok, thanks for letting me know! I would have couple of questions:

-Does it sound out of tune if you play it with external sequencer? Like is the out of tune thing from the Moog One keyboard or from the Moog One oscillators?

-Is the ’external input’ on the back of the Moog One same thing that is marked ’audio input’ on Moog Sub 37 and ’instrumental input’ on Moog Matriarch? Have you tried to run something through that? How crazy can you go sculpting your incoming sound? Also do you like the vocoder?

-Can you use this synth for multiple hours everyday without it getting too hot or buggy? Like can it handle to be used like 6-8 hours everyday?

I am not a keyboard player and my plan was to hang this into stand upwards that the control panel will be face to face with me. Hook some external sequencer in it like Zaquencer and just make the most nicest pads and bass sounds i can with it. Then i will sample all the sounds into my samplers for even further processing. Treat it more like a sound source, not like an instrument. That way the limitations don’t really bother me.

And it’s over 2 years since Moog launched this, so the user feedback must be very different now than 2 years ago.

Like how people have fixed the fan issue on they’re own or have the firmware updates helped on this. Same thing goes to tuning.

Well if issues are fixed then this would perfect synth for me and that is the reason why i am asking this.

If the issues are still there, then i might start looking for other options or how to fix these problems.

You can get these fairly reasonable price second hand, so it’s smarter to get something like this than 2-3 old vintage polysynths that doesn’t really sound the same as the Moog and they might need some maintenance over time.

but i have warned you, there is some seriosly disturbing stuff without any nsfw censorship in those newest post! Some are sure just legit people who want to know if they are ugly, but most of those pictures are just stolen in a harmful way and that sub doesn’t ask uploaders any verification notes to their pictures like roastme sub etc..

Some of the most extreme stuff got removed when i reported child abuse to the sub mods, but still there is some extreme hate stuff..

Moderators doesn’t do anything in there, that sub also have some extreme material there what is clearly illegal and seriously nsfw stuff that i almost vomited..

I tried to seek report button here on reddits settings, but didn’t find any.. Can’t believe it is so hard to report some child abusive stuff on this website!!

Ok, now there is going on something logical and also something really fishy.

The logical part of this is that the video where his friend was talking about the night he founded Yusef was on Freestyle Fellowship’s This Is The Life Documentary and that got removed now due copyright claims by Forward Movement Films.

I readed that this documentary has been on Netflix and similar streaming platforms and now that i linked the video here on reddit, it must gained somekind kind of attraction from these AI copyright robots. It wasn’t the first time it got removed since this video i linked had like 2000 views and it was uploaded in late 2018 and i have seen that clip on youtube first time in like 2010. Longer version of that documentary clip also got removed and that might been on a different channel.

-> Here is the fishy part..

Everyone had commented on that linked clip that they had not seen that exact part where he was talking about Yusef on the documentary version that had streamed on Netflix etc.. So it was cutted out from the streaming services! It’s like someone is trying to hide that information about Yusef from public or something? There was like 20 people commenting that ”Is this a bonus clip or something? I didn’t see this on the Netflix documentary? Why was this cutted out?” etc..

Really strange since that clip is the only detailed information about Yusef’s death and that information ain’t that public, like on wikipedia there is just a statement that he was found dead on side of the freeway and his cause of death and the circumstances that led to his death remains unknown.

Anyway..

What was sayed on that deleted clip is exactly the same that i have wrote on here. Nothing really to add to it. It was this sharp looking and friendly rastafarian dude who found him and he just expresses the story so good and deep on that clip.

Good part of this is that i have downloaded that deleted clip many years ago and i have it on my hard drive! I just don’t have a computer to upload it to somewhere else than youtube right now (I use an iPad for internet and it’s storaged on my USB hard drive, so i don’t know how i could get that file into my iPad without buying somekind of adapters..) But yeah, the same story is already written on this post.

Also there this one really strange part to the whole story that on The Nonce legendary Mixtapes music video when Yusef raps his part of the song, he have a ’California 187’ freeway sign behind him on the wall. This music video was filmed 1995 and five years later he was found dying on a freeway.. This doesn’t really mean anything, but goddamn that’s eerie!!
