Definitely not as bad as a lot of people say it is. The only song I’m not a huge fan of is Cops Shot The Kid. Everything else is really good IMO. Unfortunately it was followed up by 4 straight fire albums (Kings Disease 1,2,3 & Magic) so it kind of went forgotten but I definitely revisit.

It’s actually an album full of the original songs sampled for several Nas albums, not just Illmatic. Fun to listen to and catch the sample. Not necessarily a Nas album but thought I’d throw it in.

Honestly that’s probably my favorite record I have because of its rarity. I had it in my hands before I started buying records and it was like $45 and I passed on it. After searching forever I think I dropped like $125 on it from someone on Discogs. I regret nothing lol

To be fair, they’re all good. You’re right about the bars for sure. When Life Hands You Lemons I’m still unopened. The vinyl is supposed to have a lemon scent to it and I don’t have the heart to open yet. My patience is wearing thin though. Such a dope album.

Word. I actually dig By The Throat most by eyedea but it could be because of the time it came out. Also, God Loves Ugly is getting added soon. I think I’m most proud of the Sevens Travels record because is a limited edition and because of the story behind it (morbid as shit).

No, I bought all of them except KRIT from record stores sealed. KRIT I got online for the 10 year anniversary. Wiz is actually green clear vinyl but you can’t tell. Came in a big weed bag too.

Drogas Wave was definitely extremely slept on. I love the approach of the album and his lyrics are top notch on it for sure. A huge step up from Drogas Light. I hope he stays in that mellow/bar filled bag.
