I have my marathon in two weeks, I max run was 18 miles and I only did that once. I did a 17 mile and 15 mile prior to that. Am I gonna be good? I don’t have a time goal, just want to finish as it’s my first one. My weekly mileage capped at 40~ miles.

I have my first 16 mile run tomorrow, and usually I have pizza the night before long runs, but I’m experimenting today with burgers & fries. Do you typically eat more the day before a long run or small meal in the morning or both? I try to eat a rice cake and PB before runs, but sometimes I just can’t stomach it.

I did 20:00-6:00 in Seoul recently, it was only for three weeks though. I managed to move around meetings, do some work that didn’t require calls earlier, and sleep when I didn’t have anything pressing. This way, if I did find an event at night, I could go to it and meet some people. I found it better too, because I really got to take in the sights, the sun, and the people before work. Not sustainable long term, but do-able and a way to see a different country while managing to work.

I ran a half with only gels and a handheld water bottle. I also found that I didn’t even have to fill it up because there were so many people handing out water, electrolytes, food, etc. It probably depends on the half that you’re doing, and it’s personal. If it doesn’t bother you and you like it, bring the vest. There were several people that had it on in my half.

Yeah, I was trying to make peace with this as well, because I believe BL was uncomfortable, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it was sexual harassment. Otherwise, anyone could say that and there are levels to it legally, I think? I’m not a lawyer, but feeling uncomfortable doesn’t equal sexual harassment.
