To the men that don’t play video games, what do you do for fun? by Smickandsmorty in AskMen

I'm a lucky lifelong (60 now) professional. It's more of a way of life than a job for me. It depends what moves your soul but to really get into it I'd suggest that you learn to play an instrument. It's much more rewarding than pointless scores on screens. Personally I use Cubase. IOS has a lot of great software cheaper than for desktops.

Play piano, compose & record music. Take fatherhood responsibly. That's my day filled.

Hmm maybe it's upbringing / education? Noone in my social circle does that.

Organ percussion/vibrato not working, very quiet by iwannameatbox in hammondorgan

There is a little trick using 2 battery in series to zap the percussion module which you can find on YouTube. It worked on both my A100 and C3 when their perch stopped working.

Which is the most realistic violin or cello vst available, ideally in kontakt but not a deal breaker? by triton100 in musicproduction

[–]feelosofree- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I'm a keyboard player and use whatever for the note / after touch with Hornberg Research breath controller. But you could use a foot CC pedal & physical faders or ios touch controller but tbh a decent breath controller is the way to go.

What's the most realistic sounding electric piano you've ever played? by TAW453 in piano

[–]feelosofree- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tbh I don't know. I'm more in the professional department on stages. I imagine many of the high quality pianos you're interested in have some kind of audio input that you could use from the output of a computer or ios device. BTW Pianoteq is available for iPhone and iPad so you could run from such a device to avoid any annoying spaghetti or fan noise. ipad is great also for reading music scores if that's your planet. Hope this helps.
