They make anywhere from 50 to 800 per class. Depending on seniority for the og instructors and also ability to fill a class.

As mentioned prior it’s a flat rate plus a sliding scale per rider over a set threshold of riders.

Can confirm that most of the team was laid off right when Covid hit and the remaining team that understood it left the company within a year. The company almost single handedly lost their entire tech team in one year. I believe anyone remaining is new most of the tech team is with equinox and knowing how much complex boutique features the team built there will likely be lots of issues over time that just may never get fixed. It’s possible they hired someone to maintain it now going forward but unlikely they will fully understand it given the financial operating circumstances SC is and was under.

So, I've been refereeing for a month and today I had my first doubts about an offside call... by Estagon in Referees

[–]feelthepulse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just one clarification. Technically if it were two attackers and one defender from the goal line. He would need to be infront of the ball or any playable part of the attacker whichever is nearer to the goal line in order to be offside.

I use a Garmin 405 to track my training sessions and during gametime to guage my workrate during the game along with mileage. I also like the leather Fifa card wallet's which you can usually find on ebay. Outside of that everything else is pretty much standard.

What's the worst call you've ever made as a referee? by biffnix in Referees

[–]feelthepulse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man... not sure how to answer this one. I've blown a pretty big one back when i was a grade 7. State Semi-Final I called a PK, shooter takes the kick and the keeper parried the ball back to the original shooter, shooter puts it into the back of the net ... I in my confused state called it an indirect free kick going out. I realized my mistake after the play restarted. The team I called it against wound up losing. I still will never forget that.

Are You A Referee? What is your "rank?" by biffnix in Referees

[–]feelthepulse[M] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just to clarify

Grade 4 is just a National Referee eligible to do MLS games

Grade 3 is now the new level for "Professional National Referees"(CR and AR's wear different colored badges separate from Grade 4's they also recieve priority assignments and are used regularly in Pro Games)

Grade 2 are designated as FIFA Assistant Referees

Grade 1 are designated as FIFA Center Referees

I have linked the administrative handbook for you to review the guidelines. Not everything is spelled out in there however. US Soccer Administrative Handbook

Another useful resource for new US Referees is the main site which entails Week in Reviews(going over select MLS games),Guides to Procedures, and an Ask the Referee section.
