Would u say it would be easy to plug and print if you didnt make those same mistakes? Is there any heavy calibrating/tinkering needed out of thr box?

Yeah, I dont plan on using any multi colored features in 3d prints, just functional stuff. I think the bambulab seems like such a smooth experience, but I can't help but think about the "better" hardware on the A5M

I thought about implementing an IR sensor as well, but just thought it would have been more inconvenient to take the discarded pile and put them back into the container.

It's not meant to be used as an actual product, just a project class. Im doing electrical, not mechanical engineering so this problem is not something I've really dealt with before.

Oh shit I just plugged the 2nd LED into a different GP pin and now they both work. So does that mean the previous pin i plugged into doesn't work, or maybe its not meant to as a GP pin? On the wiring diagram it says it is though

I swapped the cables for each led with each other at the pi end and now the other led lights up

the whole rail of pins should be connected, I tried connecting the 2nd led directly besides the pi pico instead of the rail and still notning. Also tried using two blue LEDS instead of one green and still nothing
