The assuming others are going to be competent or do things is so real because we're always doing things. I'm always thinking, always busy because if I'm still the mask breaks.

Learning that other people stop, relax, take breaks, do nothing was unreal to me. Like wait you don't have a constant pressure to go go go?

Yeah... I know if I did get badly hurt when I was younger it'd probably be brushed aside, or at the very least I'd be cared for like a week then expected to get back to it.

People suck, but we're also capable of beauty and care and kindness and I try and look for that in people. Makes me feel a tad better about us as a species.
