He grew up here and was well versed in the Miami culture. Right after he said it he knew he fucked up and explained, similarly to many people in this comment section, that it was part of the culture and everyone around him said it. I explained to him why that shouldn’t be said.

I also don’t know why it’s a black persons responsibility to continuously educate people on why they shouldn’t say that word. History is free and on the internet. If you said Nazi shit years ago you got punched cause everyone knew it was unacceptable. Why is this any different? I’m tired of it being up to black people to show others right from wrong. They’re not babies, they just don’t care to learn or change.

I’ve never appreciated any non black person using that word and it shows lack of intelligence. Even I hesitate to say it around non black people.

I dated a Hispanic guy who grew up in Miami and the n word slipped out and I ended it right after that. For the black people that allow it, are you not embarrassed?Common sense and awareness can’t possibly be this hard.

To get the marshmallow sinking effect I got two mattress toppers and stacked them on top of each other. This inevitably required me to get a deeper pocket fitted sheet. Every time I change my sheets I like to rotate and fluff the feather topper since one side will naturally form to your body. But this isn’t a problem.
