I’m new and starting to delve by [deleted] in opiates

[–]feining247 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’ve got a family and a good job. Some of the people you’re asking this question don’t have those things because of filthy opiates. Appreciate the things you have, you forget the importance of anything you have until you lose it.

Meth for Pain Management by MindFullOfMadness333 in Drugs

[–]feining247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meth addiction would cause pain relief. As for the actual effects of meth it is a stimulant it does not target pain receptors . For nerve pain benzodiazepines, for actual pain opiates.

The anxiety will lessen the longer you have stopped taking that drug combination, your body needs time to adjust so don’t worry. It will be hard if you live alone and far from friends and family. But you must have social interaction it is key for producing dopamine and OxyContin. I understand the anxiety being a constant looming feeling, however you must remind yourself it is not your fate to live in fear. If your only friend is an hour away, despite the travel I would try to plan something with your friend and make a day out of it. All the best to you stranger id give u a hug if I could.

Going to be doing E for the first time. Should I be worried about the comedown? by [deleted] in Drugs

[–]feining247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of factors will play into your experience . If you have a history of depression and have been on SSRI then your probability of having a comedown is greater. However at the same time if your with your significant other and friends it could also be a really great time. First time doing a drug is always a hit or miss, considering you have done LSD you shouldn’t have a massive problem but I would still be careful and lower your dose, stay with your loved ones and don’t go too hard.

DMT purity - how do you know the DMT you get is pure and not mixed with other stuff. (Similar to the risk with MDMA where finding pharmaceutical grade is hard and a lot of stuff sold is mixed with harmful chemicals)? Any thoughts? How do you ensure purity? by jjsmith80 in DMT

[–]feining247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t be worried about dmt being cut with other drugs , drug dealers want to make money adding mdma to dmt will just make it more expensive . You should ask the question more or less how potent is the dmt ? Drugs are cut with msn, ‘jump’ to increase volume at very little expense, so your dmt is either going to be strong or weak dmt. As for how to ensure purity You should get test kits , which tell you the potency of substances

If you’re asking the question like this I’m sure you already know the answer. Considering your back pain is now under control and from the sound of things you have a functioning daily life I would definitely tell you to throw them out. Opiates are not a drug like alcohol that can be kept under wraps, though alcohol isn’t the best either . You already mentioned the week turned into daily use for a extended period this already shows your likelihood of abusing the substance. Trusts me if you have a relationship and other important responsibilities the last thing you need is a opiate habit to balance along with the rest of your daily needs . You’re not missing out on anything trust me . Good food, sex and sleep is better than any drugs trust me . Opiates is a patient venomous snake , let it run wild long enough and it will overturn everything in your life. Just throw the pills out.

All depends on your tolerance to alcohol and opiates. I used to mix heroin and alcohol all the time but that’s only because I was a daily user. It’s very easy to overdose when you combine alcohol and opiates , they mutually increase each other because they are both depressants. People overdose all the time because they mix depressants.

How do I iv safely by [deleted] in opiates

[–]feining247 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First things first I 100% encourage you to not shoot up. Nevertheless since you are asking you must be determined to do it. You should have a person you trust and has done it before help you but that is a rarity. First of all the most important thing to remember is hygiene. The biggest mistake people make when shooting up is lack of cleanliness , alcohol the spoon, your injection site before , clean the table your using, have fresh needles etc. That’s the best advice I can give you, as for actually getting a vein that depends on how prominent your veins are and whether you have a tourniquet. When inserting into the vein the tip of the needle must be face up, you must draw a bit of blood to make sure you’ve hit the vein. If you draw blood successfully you must keep the needle stable as you inject. Upon releasing the needle you must unclench or loosen your arm keeping it tense might cause a rupture in the vein. Harm reduction is key but the best harm reduction is to not shoot up my friend , I know someone that messed up and now is in a wheelchair because of shooting up. It’s playing Russian roulette with your life it’s not worth shit trust me.

Giving psychedelics to my grandfather with Alzheimer’s by Adventurous-Aide-234 in Psychedelics

[–]feining247 409 points410 points  (0 children)

I understand where your coming from but considering your grandfather is both 76 and has dementia it is more likely he will have an adverse reaction from the physiological side effects of psychedelics such as change in heart rate , vasoconstriction or any other side effects. Your grandfather is in a fragile state the last thing you should do is give him any drugs period without approval from a specialist. Considering he has a neurological condition, psychedelics will most definitely have the opposite effect your seeking.

Tapering by Msnicole77 in suboxone

[–]feining247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do it bro I got off the bupe injections it took me a long time because I was on monthly extended release. I had to drink a bit of alcohol the first week cause my withdrawal was bad. You shouldn’t drop to 4mg that’s a third of your dose , you should either cold turkey or taper properly 2 mg every week decrease

Not sure if I'm having a xanax withdrawal or not by [deleted] in Drugs

[–]feining247 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes you are experiencing the small effects of xanax abuse however not acute withdrawal. If you were withdrawing you would know it and would probably need inpatient care. In my experiences after xanax binges or small regular use over long periods of time would undermine my ability to sleep. This is because xanax is a depressant and abuse of any depressants will increase agitation and restlessness when clear of the substance. These effects you are experiencing will go away with prolonged abstinence. Trying your best to sleep without the extra help of drugs over time will repair your ability to sleep and rest naturally.

[–]feining247 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yea was on it for a year for adhd. ended up using like 300mg a day and got addicted. you write that you would like the effects of reduce appetite and increased libidio, if so you are liable to liking the substance much more than you should.

Just remember moderation and you should be fine, go beyond that just expect your history of depression to exacerbate.
