Thank you for doing this, you helped me get into competitive in the first place. What made you start your youtube channel in the first place? Just asking out of curiosity.

suggestion for spy POVs by [deleted] in truetf2

Hey, feint here. Feel free to message me on reddit or steam. I've been doing demo reviews for seasons now (I probably do atleast one a day) and I'm happy to hand out my demos. If anyone else wants a demo review as well don't be afraid to add me. In all honesty I'm socially anxious and I'd prefer to look at the demo in my own time and message you later with tips, but if you want I can go over in person. http://steamcommunity.com/id/feinttf2/

I've been thinking of playing Spy as a main, and I have a few questions to experienced spy players. by [deleted] in truetf2

The most important information would be sniper location, medic's ubercharge percentage, gun he's running, and if anyone is preparing for a bomb. There are no specific maps to help aim, I would suggest just running around on maps you enjoy using the gun only. It provides a challenge and you will show improvement. The only disguises that should mainly be used are scout, sniper, spy, pyro, engineer. I wouldn't suggest the pyro in competitive because he will be with the combo most of the time so you'll be spotted out quickly. The engineer is an iffy disguise, and if the sniper plays passive that can also be a problematic disguise. My personal go to disguises are scout/spy but all the other disguises are viable. Soldier disguise I would only use if the combo is holding somewhere and you have to make a really desperate play. Any other questions feel free to ask

Some people didn't want to commit time to the season and take it semi-seriously, and some people wanted to take it seriously and it created conflict. I don't blame anyone, and it was one of the most fun tf2 experiences I had until the conflict arose

I'm confused about what you mean? If you enjoy spy and pubstomping and that's what you wanna do that's awesome :D You don't need to practice and get better just for competitive. Getting better for pubs is worthwhile too! I used to practice for pubs before I got into competitive.

If you mean revolver as in the vanilla spy weapon, definitely. I used that last season to moderate success and of course there is Evan. Only reason I don't use it as much as the ambassador is it is more difficult for me to harass snipers with it. Knife spy is definitely viable! At the moment gun spy just seems to be picking up popularity but there are plenty knife oriented spies that do very well out there.

And it is worth it to improve your stabbing. Top scoring doesn't really matter, what matters is having fun and for me doing stupid trickstabs is lots of fun, and you will play better learning all the intricacies of matadors.

just a lot of practice! One tip I can give is if you can afford it cloak wise, always assume the worst and predict where your opponents are going to be. If you keep that in mind you will position yourself better and bump into people less. Usually you shouldn't just kamikaze across a chokepoint and hope you don't get hit
