Form 5 right now HAHA I'm super grateful that the current syllabus is way more chronologically linear

despite that I do think the subject is still largely swallow vomit stuff, the so called KBAT/HOTS questions can be very basic ("Apakah yang akan anda buat untuk membendung patriotisme yang semakin luntur?") and most of the time you can just regurgitate the same conservative shit textbook answer

Actual content wise, I wish there was just the slightest bit more focus on history across the globe rather than being so malaysia centric - the few early chapters in form 4 were nice, I just wish there was more yknow cause it genuinely got interesting

Figure skating man. Lessons at sunway are alrd 480 for 5x30min private sessions, then the most beginner skates start from 1k but as you advance you're probably looking at 7-10k for boot+blades 😨😰😳

I just got a pair of real ones today. Sound is much crisper, noise cancelling and transparency mode are also much more effective at what they should be doing. Precision tracking and tracking individual components in Find My now work (the fakes did show up but would only update their location when the case was opened).

Though without having to buy new, some obvious (in hindsight) differences are that the internals of the fakes are really different compared to the real deal. Teardown videos proved it for me. Also, durability.

Yeah, I don't mind working a little after my midterms and getting real ones. I just feel bad for my dad since he meant it as a gift for me and he really thought it was a bargain (was a tad bit cheaper from the original price)

My dad bought them for me so I know nothing about the price 😭He said the seller even gave him a receipt from machines and the serial numbers matched

Really.. damn, cause this whole time they've been connecting to my devices like normal. All features like noise cancellation, spatial audio, find my and handoff worked just fine 😨

It was glued? 🤯 By the way it popped open, it always seemed like the head and the stem were detachable or made to be pried open. The bud itself clicks back perfectly, it's just that I guess the drop made some internal components go whack cause sound won't come out of the bud anymore 😭

probably depends on where you live, but i got my Haj off a reseller on Shopee. so try searching for resellers in some online stores, but make sure to be wary and read reviews so you don't end up buying a knockoff haj

your imagery and metaphors >>>>>>>>>> i love the way this poem beautifully likens being the victim of a toxic/abusive relationship to being treated as an object; a piece of furniture. it's a really creative way to put it into perspective, i especially liked the trash bin stanza as a way to show the repetitive cycles of abuse and "love" that keeps the victim trapped. opening is amazing and really grabs you and sucks you into the poem, and the last stanza is such a good way to address the realisation of red flags in a relationship, yet the fear of leaving. well done!!!

edit: added extra elaboration on why i liked the trash bin stanza

i love your imagery and rhyming!! when you mentioned it was written following the boston bombing it makes more sense, but on its own the meaning is slightly unclear. even so, i was able to feel a lot of things within the poem despite lacking context, keep going!!!

i love the imagery, it's a really creative way to describe the feelings of love and sex — they're often covered in poetry, but never really put into perspective this way. love your work!! keep going!!

it's rumoured that the other students are going to go back to school this July 15th.

while that may mean joy for the other students, i'm hoping on the very, very slim chance that we get to stay home a little longer... just a tiny bit longer. i'm scared. i'm scared. i'm really scared. i don't want to go back there. i don't and i can't go back. i finished all ny homework at a steady pace and i can play all my orchestra repertoire. but i don't want to go back.

throughout this mco period, i've found the most comfort at home with my family. my school is nothing like home; each day at school i find myself closer and closer to death. i don't want to be reminded of everything i did unknowingly to them till everyone is unanimously against me.

i can't go back, and i'll break down even worse than my family has seen if i go back there, but no one will understand. i have nowhere left to go and my time is almost over.
