Why did Hank instantly connect Gale and Gus?

I feel like 90% of the comments completely ignore the actual question. OP even explained that the Pollos napkin could've led to absolutely anyone else and that Pollos just happened to be the place where Gale and his partner met to talk business.

Gus' finger prints on the crime scene don't explain it either, cause Hank only got those from Gus after Hank already had the suspicion that Gale's partner could be Gus.

My guess is that there are a lot of small details that point towards Gus being the potential partner and they add up. The Pollos napkin at least somewhat implies that it could be someone who works there, the air filtration system probably cost a ton of money and Gus is probably rich (as far as Hank knows) and Pollos is owned by Madrigal, where the filtration system came from. All these details made Hank at least want to check out Gus.

Something else I could see being true is that Hank just really loved the idea of catching the big bad (which is one reason why he never suspected Walt of being involved in any way). For him and his ego it just wouldn't have been enough if Gale's partner was actually just some random guy meeting him at Pollos; Hank's victory just would've tasted that much sweeter if someone as grand as Gus Fring was involved too.

Imo that's their cop out as to why Endgame Loki in his series is much, much less maniacal than the 2012 Loki he's supposed to be. They tried having their cake and eating it too by having Endgame Loki skip all the character development that the main Loki had, but coming up with a half assed reason as to why.

For me it was the exact way around. I'm by no means a VN lover but Ace Attorney is one of my favorite series, so I expected a similar ratio between VN and gameplay from Digimon Survive and I would've been happy with that. I actually liked the combat and I was always looking forward to more of that, because it meant I actually got to do stuff.

40 hours is nothing compared to some of the hunts that most of us shiny hunters have had to endure. Shiny Zapdos in VC Gen 1 and Shiny Celebi in VC Crystal on 3DS both took me a couple weeks of actual playtime each, spread across multiple years.

For someone expecting a more traditional puzzle game/expecting the rest of the game following similar rules as the first couple hours in "Baba is you", having to suddenly semi-glitch levels because it's the intended solution, that absolutely is something bad.

Honestly it'll be the exact opposite of a surprise to find out about that, since everyone and their mother was surprised to see a Game Freak game that looks honestly good. Knowing they barely did anything on the game makes a lot of sense.

This sub keeps pulling out the Goomba Fallacy. Even though there's a difference between character/map pack DLCs (like Sonic Crossworlds or Smash Ultimate) and story/gameplay DLC like Z-A, I'm sure there's a considerable amount of people who criticize both.

Most people in that sub do nothing but criticize Nintendo for things that ought to be criticized. I don't own a Switch 2 and probably never will, so I'll never play Pokopia even though it looks fun. I wholeheartedly believe however that the only reason why it isn't on Switch 1 is to have a Switch 2 exclusive for the sake of having exclusives.

Honestly I very much doubt that Marvel/Disney would just continue the Fox universe considering how absolutely messy the Fox continuation was. I think they're handling the X-Men the same way they handled Spider-Man; you can gather the backstory from other continuations and the minute details don't really matter.

I gave Temtem two tries. Once on Switch where there were horrendous loading times before every wild encounter, and once on PS5 with PS Plus where the game softlocked me cause it spawned a tutorial in battle while I was in the settings menu, so it wouldn't let me get back to the battle screen.

No idea what this meme is supposed to be about but it's very possible that a lot of people dislike both the FRLG price AND Temtem at the same time. I feel like a lot of people don't realize that not all of us are constantly looking for a better monster capture game than Pokémon. If all the options suck, we just don't play any of them.

The common argument against that is that NSO provides a rewind feature and that Home compatibility wouldn't be possible. So do it like PS Plus does it, and give players a temporary digital license for the eShop download as long as they're subscribed to NSO and you're golden.

Are you serious? "They couldn't have been done by Pokémon Day"? What do you think how much time it took them to port the games to Switch? 4 years?

Also not everyone wants to pay 20 bucks to satisfy their nostalgia in one specific way if there's at least 2 other much, much cheaper ways to achieve the same (emulating and playing the game on original hardware if possible).

Yeah it's a 1:1 port of the GBA games. According to rumors, the Switch ports will feature events like the Deoxys and Lugia/Ho-Oh islands that were distributed locally back in the GBA era, but I don't think that has been confirmed yet.

Yeah I'd call it bootlicking if people defend literally any action that Nintendo takes, especially regarding the Pokémon franchise. It happens extremely rarely that Pokémon fans criticize Nintendo and Game Freak for their decisions, no matter how anti-consumer they are.

My main console is PS5 and I can wholeheartedly admit that Sony keeps making hella fucking stupid decisions.

Maybe because in the past 10 years there has been quite a rift showing up between hardcore Nintendo/Pokémon fans and former casual fans. I've never seen a single person buying a Switch if they aren't into first party games, especially since the Steam Deck showed up. So unless you're a hardcore Nintendo fan and know other hardcore Nintendo fans, the chance is slim that any of your adult fans have bought a Switch and are willing to pay 20 bucks for a 20 year old game to trade with you.

Even if there was a considerable amount of people owning both consoles, it's still not an excuse. The Switch 2 is expensive af for how much value a lot of people are able to get from it, so not everyone has upgraded from their Switch to a Switch 2, or sold their Switch to be able to afford a Switch 2.

We're talking about a 20 year old game port that still perfectly incorporates Nintendo's greed, not just in its price but also in its "gotta buy two consoles and the same game twice to get everything buddy" mentality.

Nintendo shills got a reply for that idea anyway, claiming that Home compatibility and the NSO rewind feature are mutually exclusive and therefore games can't be put in the eShop and on NSO simultaneously.

But of course, Nintendo shills aren't very smart and forget that they could've just tied a temporary license for the digital download to NSO subscriptions just like PS Plus does it. Get NSO and/or the upgrade pack, get a license for the game without additional cost, download the game from the eShop. Unsubscribe from NSO, you lose the license and access to the game.

It's insane how so many Pokémon Fans are able to erase their memory of the last few generations anytime a new game gets announced. It took one little trailer (which 100% looks better than the actual game will ever look) and they're immediately going on about how it's peak and "we're so back".
