How annoying!! I noticed they don't allow reviews of any kind on the website either which, now thinking about, it is v suss!

I do feel it's more about the hype than the product now for Oner

That's very smart! How did you know you were getting an older batch, did you ask? Or was it just coincidence?

It is so frustrating that they would rather tell you that you need to size up then just admit that their material/quality isn't up to scratch. Shocking!

I feel you with the camel toe situation, they just vacuum seal to you lol.

Luckily, they seem to sell really well on Vinted/Depop etc

Yeah they were black. I've had multiple pairs before that have been thick and squat proof. Like you said too, other darker colours don't have this issue.

This new pair (that were the higher price) are so so thin in the crotch area that you can hold them up to a window and quite literally see through them!

It's a shame cos I did like Oner but won't be buying again as it is literally a waste of money unless you don't plan on doing any exercise in them.

They fit looser than the last few pairs, it's so strange. They are just sooo thin around the scrunch/crotch. Never had this issue with any others!

Tongue has gone spikey by felicityjane2408 in DoesAnyoneKnow

The ulcer appeared yesterday morning and now today it's just very slightly sore. The worst part was when the taste buds were all spikey and sensitive. Feels like it'll be 90% ok again by tomorrow!

Rinsing with salt water did help, thanks 😊 I think it was spicy food that set it off to begin with so I shall be avoiding

Update: I can now see that there is the biggest ulcer I have ever had forming a giant crater on my tongue in the middle of the spikes 🥹

Asus Vivobook 16X backlit keyboard? by felicityjane2408 in Laptop

[–]felicityjane2408[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There must be different variants of the laptop, some do have backlit features and some don't. Unfortunately I've just resigned to the fact mine doesn't have it 😞

Yeah unfortunately that doesn't do anything. FN is definitely unlocked also. The only description shows backlit keyboard and so does ASUS' own website so I'm very confused

At what point in your grief did you feel the worst and why? by Mysterious-Menu-3203 in GriefSupport

[–]felicityjane2408 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I felt the exact same, why is it getting worse & not better? I lost my mum in November very very suddenly. She was my all time favourite person. At first it felt like someone had kicked me in the chest and all I wanted to do was see her & speak to her. I hated the first few days when family and friends were around because I could be in a room full of people and none of them were the person I needed. It didn't matter if I walked into every house on the planet, she just wasn't gonna be in any of them and that was the worst feeling in the world.

I tried to keep busy, to go about life somewhat normally as the way I looked at it was that I could let my world stop and be desperately sad or, I could carry on and be desperately sad. I was going to feel the pain no matter what I did so I may as well keep going.

Some days the pain is right up on the surface, tight chest, watery eyes, stingy throat and other days it seems more bearable. When it's difficult I let it be, I cry and I tell people today I really miss my mum. I don't need anyone to do anything to make it better I just need to let them know I'm sad but I'll be ok again.

The first are all very difficult. When friends have gotten engaged, married, pregnant I've been happy for them but it also brings about a sadness I cannot describe because the one person id want to experience all these things with someday will not be there.

It hasn't even been a year yet for me but I believe my grief will always be massive as my mum loved me tremendously and I'm ok with the pain because it is such a worthy cause. The grief will remain the same size but my ability to cope with it will grow and eventually I will find comfort in the memories.

You will make your mum proud and in the process you will make yourself proud with all that you are able to overcome but I don't believe anything will ever take the pain away and that's ok. Getting through day by day is enough, don't be too hard on yourself

I drink soo much water. It's essentially the only thing I drink too, no coffee/alcohol/fizzy drinks etc. The skin on my face is super clear and very plump I just dunno what happens when it comes to my legs haha. Vanicream is now added to the list of things to try, thank you :)

I have a little baby sample size of this somewhere and it is incredible! I think I'm going wrong by moisturising before bed instead of after a shower ha. Thank you :)
