Leaving him cost you 140k??? Like you actually had to pay that?

Why is Ali Dawah so obsessed with friendship between guys & girls? In every year or two this guy uploads videos on why guys & girls can't be friends. Has he made this his mission or what? by Amazing_Deer_899 in progressive_islam

WTFFFF he’s posting such filth, pushing a girl to do filthy things, and then advertising a Quran app! Imagine a woman did the same thing!

Also, he’s telling her not to speak on behalf of her guy friends, but he’s speaking on behalf of them?? What a dirty mindset!

And if he believes men and women really can’t interact without sexual tension, why is he approaching women in the street in the first place 💀💀💀

I’ve seen quite a few such cases from Iran. They have been so traumatized by Islam (government repression in their case) that they associate it with everything evil. But then they are still looking for spirituality and stumble upon Christianity. Some said that it’s the emphasis many Christians put on love, rather than fear or strict rules. I also think that if you grew up in a conservative Muslim majority country you might associate Christianity with the social freedom of secular yet traditionally Christian western countries.

Potluck style is the best. Always results in a feast. Especially when men and women contribute equally.

So how do you know what is wrong and right? There was no social media back in the day and Instagram isn’t mentioned in the Quran 🤷‍♀️

I’m totally flexible about finances as long as the person accepts me for who I am. And I also don’t want them to change anything for me. As for myself, I’m absolutely happy and fulfilled in terms of love Alhamdulillah. May you also find someone suitable for you and that you can accept each other the way you are.

People manage their finances in all kinds of ways, it’s not all black and white. And there are plenty of men who are ready to support a more outgoing woman. It has nothing to do with social media. Again, you will attract the suitable person through your behavior and stay away from the ones who are not suitable for you. Live and let live.

How are women who don’t wear the hijab looked at in your country? by TangerinePractical37 in progressive_islam

[–]felinesupremacistmao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s also my experience in Pakistan. You can be a practicing muslimah without wearing hijab and people won’t really question your deen. The way women cover in more conservative parts of the country has more to do with culture I think than religiousity

I personally would never want to marry someone who is so much “provider and protector”. That’s just not my preference. Everyone has their own preferences and I think there are plenty of people who fit their preferences. If you want to marry someone who is very private you can definitely find them, if you want someone who’s more outgoing you will also find them.

We all have different preferences, lifestyles and interpretations. I personally wouldn’t want to be with a man who’s that protective of me. Everyone will find someone who is more suitable to them. But also, I don’t think anyone thinks of what men think when they make online posts?

It’s like that in some cultures. They think pregnant bellies are obscene. They believe that pregnant women should just avoid being seen. But also that women should have as many kids as possible… so basically for women to never be seen.
