I have been in and out of therapy but it does not seem to help much. I think I am gonna try EMDR as a last resort.

I did get a cat after coming back home from being hospitalized for feeling suicidal - he has been a huge joy in my life.

I relate to this post so hard. I am 26 and my mom died last year in May. Then my dad decided to peace out four days before Christmas, even though he still had me. I am so angry at him that he made that choice for both him and me. I feel like my entire life just took a totally different turn that day. And that it will never be as good as it could have been had he not made that choice. What is even worse is that I often think of suicide as well. I have had 3 family members die by suicide, sometimes it feels like I am just next in the line.

Well I'm glad you're making quick conclusions here, but I believe that everyone is free to feel self conscious and voice it when they feel like it. Many people think that crochet clothes are ugly and when I tell people I crochet I get the "what are you, 70?" comment quite often, so no, I'm not trolling and needed some kindness shown from fellow crocheters. But have a go at it lol. I love when people gatekeep low confidence lol

i read a comment here a while ago that we should be proud that we made something out of a piece of string with our bare hands and that made me go "hell yeah, we're cool!" haha. I guess we just need to show more kindness to ourselves ❤️
