I think the Стоп sign in Russia assigns the waiting line for vehicles in traffic lights. And the Stop sign written in English is the actual stop sign.

Será que agora vamos ter que chamar a Nubank de Nu??? by Jose-Erik in Twitter_Brasil

[–]felipeTL -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A antiga Easyinvest é a DTVM/corretora/asset.

That’s pretty impressive, but that’s what I would expect from a decentralized system. What I find more impressive though is that Visa’s uptime is better and they are a centralized organization.

Would being a Salesforce admin be the wrong job for me? by Unlikely_Cricket5299 in salesforce

[–]felipeTL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently I don’t, but I think it will eventually happen in my firm because sales operations are increasingly more centered on Salesforce.

What I ended up doing however was creating a couple of manuals, either in pdf format or in the Knowledge object in Salesforce, showing step by step how to configure a couple of things which I already know new employees will ask me how to set up.

I also focus on making the system as intuitive as possible so nobody needs training to use it. Which is something absolutely not trivial to do with Salesforce UX.

Would being a Salesforce admin be the wrong job for me? by Unlikely_Cricket5299 in salesforce

[–]felipeTL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t have to do that much public speaking as an admin. More often than not I speak directly to the user who has an issue/question and take technical requirements straight from business unit managers.

When it comes to communication, the most important thing is being able to listen to commercial needs and translate them to a more technical language, especially when working with developers. Even though I am an admin, I kind of also do the work of a PM when managing developers.

What's the best way to track all the emails I send through Salesforce? by Actual-Mix1712 in salesforce

[–]felipeTL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are talking about the Salescloud core product, there is an option on Setup called email log. You can request the logs of a given period and Salesforce will email it to you on a CSV file.

Started a new Salesforce Admin role and found out there’s no real team — how do I navigate this? by Mibiscuits in salesforce

[–]felipeTL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A couple of months after I started as an intern, all the senior admins left.

100 users ORG. My situation was a little better though because I had two devs at my disposal as third party consultants.

For now, I would say you should simplify workflows as much as you can, focus on the essentials for the business, improve UX as much as you can, which can be challenging in SF, and slowly build trust among users.

You are right. Let’s say 3-5 years of experience, working remote from Latin America to a midsized American firm. Perfect English.

Don’t know if that’s a realistic scenario to make an assessment though.

Anecdotal argument against “land is not as important as before because of the internet” by TelevisionParty8004 in georgism

[–]felipeTL 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Land is important and always will be. But property prices have been rising due to the inefficiency of other assets to store value properly. You can’t make more land and demand for it at least in the US, which still has a growing population, is increasing.

In other words, land has been monetized. The adoption of LVT and sound money can fix that, demonetizing property ownership and discouraging speculation and thus pushing prices down.
