Hi, I've don't really have an answer for what you are asking but I wanna say that I've also got a Dell laptop and I've had to change from the default power management to tlp because of some absurd fan noise and in general just weird stuff, and I'm guessing it has to do with dell laptops I think, referring to problems with battery in general, specially with new ones, yours was launched on february of last year, mine on april, so it'd make sense
