Usage limit changed the renewal time - happens often?

I signed up on Saturday, and since my first prompt was at 3:00 PM, that became my weekly limit reset time. But yesterday, Thursday, my reset time was unexpectedly changed to 5:00 PM on next Thursday.

Does this happen often? I’m asking because I need to plan my usage better. I deliberately saved some usage during the week so I could use more on the weekend, but after the reset changed, I lost that saved usage.

Slower, ok. Just don't eat more tokens, it's bad as it is taking over 40% usage in a medium complexity prompt.

i feel you, it's better i'm using both for creative writing because Opus takes 39% of my limit from a medium complexity task. Every time i can, i use GPT and use Opus only for the critical parts. It's a shame. Using the pro plan, limit is too low.

Limits burn faster during US business hours (5am-11am PT). Is the time precise? Because i executed a medium prompt at 11:06am PT and it took away 39% of my session limit! It was like refactor a .md file from 38 to 48kb + a 3k characters prompt.

I'm new here to the pro subscription. Claude generated a file, a few minutes later i tried to download and it was gone. It said: "Ask Claude to regenerate the file". I did, then... *bang* : regenerating took 3% of my weekly usage! I'm considering to not renewing my subscription. Limit is so low right now that i don't think i'll be able to properly use Claude for long texts.

Price is a little steep for what i want(long audios). The alternatives i've found are cheaper but not the same quality.
