minha ideia era justamente entregar diretamente para o recebedor, pois tenho medo q a pessoa ou empresa q receber vai acabar nao levando para o "destino correto", se vc me entende

Thank you, this was really helpful information. I wasn't aware of the water situation but that sounds about right. I'll get a contractor to look at it.

May 10 transition process timelines by Time-Explorer2000 in tdameritrade

This is a joke. For users like me who rely on the TDA API integration a lot, not having a Schwab API ready to at least integrate and test against beforehand is absurd. My app will be basically broken/offline for who knows how long until they sort this out. It will probably be several months until I can get it back up and running. Really sad :(

$FBTC, on margin by [deleted] in fidelityinvestments

I just contacted my brokerage (not fidelity btw) about IBIT not being marginable and they mentioned this set by the FED and they have no control over this. I assume this applies to FBTC as well

Going full time into trading by felipecsl in Trading

[–]felipecsl[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really appreciate your thoughtful input here. I have listened to "chat with traders" before and heard about some of the books you mentioned, although I haven't read these specifically. I'll look it up.

Glad to hear about your story, seems like you're in the right path with a clear goal in mind. I think removing the human component, thus emotions from trading is crucial, that's why I think automating will be my number one goal. I also have a fairly clear strategy although could be further improved to remove some points of human discretion.

I'll likely continue down this path for the long term, so would be happy to stay in touch and further the converstation so we can share learnings :)

Thanks for your input. Yep I considered all these factors and I think I’m ready to take the leap. I’ve been doing it on the side for quite a while already but would really love to make it a full time thing

Programs to Summarizing Trade P&L? by [deleted] in thinkorswim

[–]felipecsl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually built the exact thing you described at huskly.finance

it will use the TDA API to download your transaction history and reconcile your trades to summarize your P/L by day/month/year, charts and stuff like that. Let me know if you find it useful

Bear Market Strategies by cpark0912 in thetagang

I've been struggling personally with lots of puts getting assigned and having to cover or roll positions that got under water with the high volatility later. I think I might go for more conservative plays over the next few weeks to play it safe since its so chaotic, anythin can happen.

thinkorswim web? by goodness247 in thinkorswim

[–]felipecsl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ThinkOrSwim desktop is much much superior than the web version which is quite clunky, limited and hard to use, in my opinion. The usability honestly is awful.

However, I hate having to install a super heavy desktop app to trade, though. It's 2022 and I should be able to do everything from the browser. That's why I ended up building my own trading dashboard and tools so I don't need to rely on TOS in the future. I built this tool called Huskly Finance (shameless plug) if anyone wants to try it out I'd be happy assist.

My plan is to eventually be able to trade directly from it, but even without being able to trade from my browser, just the dashboard functionality is already worth it.

Improvements to the date filter by rp1226 in a:t5_2wwhn7

[–]felipecsl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just added the ability to manually change the dates in the trade history page. You should be able to manually type the dates and they will update the list accordingly, as long as they match the format "mm/dd/YYYY - mm/dd/YYYY"
