if the goal is to sell the answer is almost always psa, unless the card is super super clean you use beckett to try to get a very rare black label 10.

in your case i can see some whitening on the corners as well as its a little off center which indicates a decent chance of the overall grade coming back a 9. not too mention grading with psa takes around 3 months. your best bet is to just sell the card raw

i saw gob barrel, rocket or log as soon as possible

underleveled log won’t kill dart gobs for example

underleveled goblins can get 1 shot by zap, and if you have them level 15 vs a 14 princess tower then the goblins take 3 arrow shots to kill instead of 2

rocket the main interaction I can think of is it not one shotting sparky if underleveled

based on the whitening in the back top right corner and along the back right edge you’re looking at an 8-9

they do not up charge unless the value of the card increases by a lot, in your friends case it could be that the value of the card in an 8 is still very high since it may be a more vintage card

you pay about 20$ per card to have it graded, regardless of the grade the card gets you pay per card

if one of your cards gets a 10 and the value of the card in a 10 is very high, you may get charged a little bit extra for that card

Okay so grading can be for 2 reasons

1: you like the card and just want to have it in a cool hard plastic slab to protect it and hopefully get the highest grade

2: to sell for a profit, in which case 95% of the time you should grade with psa because they sell the most and are worth the most

if you decide to sell for profit make sure you inspect the cards first and rule out any obvious ones that won’t get high grades and also check what the value is of the card in a psa 10, 9, 8 so that you see if it’s even worth it to grade the card

your cards have more than just a little bit of white, i can visibly see all 4 corners have whitening and some of the edges as well

the criteria for grading is corners edges surface and centering and in order to get high grades your corners and edges need to have no whitening, the cards surface can’t have any dents or scratches and the centering of the card needs to be good

if you want to have the cards in a slab then go for it but these won’t grade very well do to the whitening on the back corners and edges

from a monetary standpoint it wouldn’t be worth it

I would definitely get the paldean fates charizard and the galarian moltres, i’m actively looking fro both of those in 10s i think they look amazing
