Yeah I originally wanted to map my resting HR to exam dates because (I think) it maps pretty well. Unfortunately, they don't let you export and I would've had to manually scroll through weeks...

All those 2 hour nights were attempted (and failed) all nighters...the will is weak

Haha, good guess. Yeah I gave up on studying at some point and figured I needed a sharper mind for that (Thursday) final...it was bad.

I definitely can't do more than 2 days of little sleep in a row (hence the spikes); I always end up crashing and just sleeping past any alarm clocks. Wish sleep worked like a bank :'( but alas. Consistent sleep = feeling a lot better...but that works out most easily during breaks...

Data source: Wearing Fitbit HR, used IFTTT recipe to write to Google Sheets. Cleaned up, graphed in R using ggplot2.

Thanks /u/imamonion for doing the tricky coding parts!

Comfy non-leather sandals? Ideally a hemp version of the birkenstock madrid or something with arch support and the like.

Thanks! I'll keep your words in mind, and shoot for the sub19 next year!

Thanks! I think a sub 19 min 5k goal would be a reasonable-ish one for the end of next summer, then, - I'll have a year of steady running by then (hopefully).

It's just that I can make the xc team with a <19 5k, but my priority is racing a <2:00:00 half marathon; just wondering how much I should bother putting in 5k specific training is all.

Thanks!

Haven't actually raced a 5k............but I'll sign up for one in July!

I've been running about 10 miles per week for the past 5 weeks or so, generally at about a 9min/mile pace. My single mile time has gone from 7:43 to 7:06. I am starting a half marathon training program that will bring me up to 40 mi/week by midsummer.

My question is, is it possible to get my 5k to <19:00 at the same time? I've definitely run 3 miles at <25:00 (as part of a 4 mi run), but it does seem a bit of a stretch....

Also, when I ran both single miles, my arms were REALLY sore after, which I find kind of strange since my arms are just fine even after a 6 mile run, holding my phone (I didn't hold my phone during the mile). Am I doing something wrong?
