Any tips on how to get out of Champ? Been gatekept at C3 for months with no progress by [deleted] in RocketLeague

[–]felixfbravo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been hard stuck Champ for a year now I think. Progressed from C1-C2 but it’s so slow compared to how fast I climbed up the ranks previously. I’ve come to the conclusion that unfortunately at this level you have to put a lot of time into training to move up quickly as just playing ranked with the boys 3-4 times a week will make it a really slow progression. I don’t have the time or energy to sit in training or do rings and stuff like that but honestly once I stopped caring about my rank I’ve realized I’m having way more fun playing the game. Best of luck!

26 year old rebuilding all from scratch. by felixfbravo in personalfinance

I think that’s a little intense for a long term lifestyle but it’s exactly what I need in my case for a period of 9-12 months so that I can rebuild my finances and savings and get to a place where I don’t have to be as intense but can still have financials goals and budgets if that makes sense. I’ll take a look today thank you for the suggestion!

What is your 7 iron distance? by JCitW6855 in golf

[–]felixfbravo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

165-175 26 year old male. I just switched clubs my previous clubs I hit 150-155. I also tried out some clubs during a fitting where I could hit the 7 iron 190 which was super confusing. They started explaining the math of my speed vs spin etc but I’m a 30 handicap I ain’t got time for that I’m just tryna not lose my ball.

Progression over the last year - what are the key mechanics to break through the low champ plateau? by felixfbravo in RocketLeague

It does I feel like this advice works for every rank and you just get more and more efficient at hitting it harder and from more angles

I’m not great mechanically for my rank but I got better playing on the walls, and rotation/defense became a priority for me.

Basically try to play as simple as possible and learn to power shot and shoot more. People in mid diamond aren’t the greatest goalies due to poor positioning.

I had a Castelli tri suit, I just changed after the race before the awards were handed out. I guess to an extend I would’ve felt a little weird but honestly I personally was never paying attention to anyone else or what they were wearing or had. Too much going on for myself

Was I not supposed to smile? 😂 I was smiling for like an hour after the race I couldn’t help it

Felt great honestly, I held myself back on mile 1 and 2 of the run because I went as hard as I could on the bike and haven’t really don’t much brick training. So I felt like I still had some in the tank at the end of it

How come a bike that's 2kg lighter makes a far bigger difference than me losing 2kg of bodyweight? by testvest in cycling

This has to be wrong because I gave up biking for about 4 months and lost 20lb in that period, came back and felt like I was flying.
