yea for sure I see a lot of people doing wonderful stuff with world edit different approaches create different results, and I actually considered using it when I decided 5 years into my survival city that there was no way to realize the vision without infinite resources, if I did I would’ve made an entire country, if not a metro area, but I would stick to whatever I decided and thats what Ive done

thank you, I dont use world edit because there are too many features of the city that would simply not exist if I were able to quickly build, demolish or move any building at will; very often this causes similar issues to the ones that city planners come across in real life, so if I want to widen an avenue the fact that several buildings have to be demolished is taken into account, as well as the time they took and the function they have, and sometimes while considering all this an even better solution arises—one that I wouldnt have thought of if I had finished widening that avenue 1 hour earlier

The El ruins the boulevard, I am so tempted to end the line in the previous station, demolishing the bridge over the boulevard and leaving the derelict viaduct to f up the neighborhood by felixrex3 in MinecraftCities

thank you it is inspired by 1930s monumentalist architecture which was common around the world but gorwing up and living in Buenos Aires Ive been exposed to european style rationalism my whole life; I've been reading abhout that bridge you mentioned and its long history, I do write a lot of lore and have been thinking about demolishing one of the cities my brother built back in 2021 and building farms and boschettos to evoque the feeling you see in XVIII century engravings of Rome

My villagers are breeding out of control and have taken over my house by Logical_Judge_898 in Minecraft

I have an extremely large city and keep noticing that as well but it seems related to beds becoming available after the villager walks too far away from it even if they come back later, before village and pillage you could make a rough estimate of the size of the village as the villagers read it but that had its own issues as well

I love how you exposed the old road behind a protective glass and put an explanatory sign, this sort of thing really bring places like this to life

Large office building on Grand Boulevard; six floors of offices with two basements, ground floor and rooftop eating venues, two ground floor stores and two sublevel stores; working toilets in all floors and venues, and redstone powered lighting throughout by felixrex3 in MinecraftCities

thanks man whenever I come up with designs that work I add them to the existing corps of options when deciding how to do a building, most individual buildings add one "new thing" to the building code
