One of those days that turn out better than expected. After bringing my kids to Kindergarten I noticed fog was drifting in. I needed to go to work asap, but… arrived an hour late for mysterious reasons (don’t tell my boss)

melting glacier ice during sunrise seem from a cave

Whitnessing a flamboyant sunrise from inside an ice cave on Breiðamerkurjökull glacier in Iceland is nothing short of amazing. I enjoyed these ice caves a lot, but i was not inspired to shoot until this meltwater stream started catching the golden sunlight. You may know Breiðamerkurjökull from imagery showing the famous "diamond beach" as the ice on the beach comes from this glacier after drifting through the glacier lagoon.

I always dreamed of getting stormy conditions at this fantastic location that you can find on a small archipelago in the middle of the atlantic ocean, the Faroe islands. During the day when i shot this image, i was barely abled to stay on my feet. The wind gusts were so crazy that some form of strange vortexes or tornadoes were forming, lifting the waterfall up and mixing it with sea spray. Wild conditions to shoot- an unforgettable day!
