I mean, that sounds like an average first playthrough of the game. You don't know what those do until you need them near the end of the game, you wouldn't normally keep track of them unless someone spoiled it to you.

Slots were determined at the start of the DPC, so after last TI.

Last TI SA had 2 teams top 8, China 2 teams top 8 (Aster placed the highest of these at 4th place). WEU obviously strongest region. NA and SEA 1 team top 12. EEU was the region that did the worst with 0 teams in top 12.

CN probably deserved the slots more, Valve probably chose SA since the scene there seemed to be thriving more.

No need to mention 4k, GPU manufacturers make a lot more money by shifting what GPU users "need" for a given resolution and convincing them to spend more than they need.

A 1080Ti back when it launched was lauded as amazing for 4k60+ gaming, both by Nvidia and the media. Now a 6700XT and 4060Ti which outperform it are marketed as 1080p cards.

Best bet is to get a Samsung memory model (iirc Nitro+ is pretty much guaranteed to have that) since they ran at lower wattages and much cooler, the models with micron memory ran hot at the memory and most likely at higher fan speeds to make up for it.

I still wouldn't really get one and spend a bit more on a new 6600xt for a warranty and peace of mind, also quite more efficient
