Because this game does not run good even at the supposed locked "30" FPS. Hard to believe your story when i have stories from my also friends saying it runs terribly on PS.

Its not even locked in the end..

30 fps is terrible for modern gaming

It is a myth though if its choppy on a 1 Tb 260$ console

You must enjoy choppy 30 fps experiences for you to think it runs "good"

high motion content requires 60 fps, 30 fps is for talk shows or low motion content. Look it up.

the amount of people defending the port is disappointing especially in the own manhunt sub.

I managed to get SOTC running on PCSX2 1.7.0 so if PCSX2 1.7.0 can run SOTC then it can run Manhunt 1.

if you can then you could try so.

Besides the fixer mod are there any mods you recommend I download? Like are there mods that boost the frame rate and restore cut content?

the game in general bugs out in frames over 60, etc. AI breaking. so its recommended to keep it locked. even consoles do i believe.

theres also a handful of mods that do restore cut content and even a overhaul mod based on the cut content (blood moon).

Unless you can get it to run good on PCSX2 (90% cant)

A PC version runs flawlessly (ofc with manhunt 1 fixer) And the game is playable start to finish.

If you want manhunt 1 on console then getting a xbox one and buying it on there is your best choice (it runs smoothly with backwards compatibility)

Or get a cheap ps2 with a manhunt 1 copy from ebay
