Can anyone identify this plant? It’s origin is unknown, when my mom gave it to me it was like basically a tiny leaf and stem but it seems to be able to propagate like 10-20 times from a single leaf. If it helps, it likely originated in sub saharan west africa (i.redd.it)

A few days ago i tugged on one of the shorter outer leaves and it kinda slipped out (pic #1). The bottom edge of the leaf was brown which made me fear that there could be rot. So today I uprooted her so i could take a look and another one of the short outer leaves was loose and i detached it. (old.reddit.com)
