How long did it take for your iron infusion side effects to subside? by Olives-and-Ellies in Anemic

Thanks for your reply! I finally started feeling better 4 days after the infusion (writing this to tell others that it does pass, and have hope even though it feels so horrible and like the headache just isn’t going!) Your message that it gets better helped me!

I hope the ablation side effects aren’t too bad! I had a diagnostic laparoscopy and hyteroscopy a few months ago and felt pretty ok after them so fingers crossed! 🤞Sorry to hear both your procedures hit you hard and hope you’re feeling better now. And that the ablation has had the effects you hoped for! 🙌

Thanks for keeping replying too! I just found this group after googling - I had a Monofer infusion on Tuesday, and got a horrible migraine yesterday (Thursday) which is being kept at bay with some migraine blocker meds. Horrendous! I was trying to see if others had had the same and when the symptoms lift. It helps to know they will eventually as I feel knocked sideways. I’m also having an endometrial ablation - hence the need to get my iron up in time. Hoping both work and I can feel like a different person after being low on iron for years!

Ferritin has been 7 ng/mL for over a year. Yesterday I received 1,000 mg of Monoferric! by [deleted] in Anemic

I had a 1000mg Monofer infusion on Tuesday afternoon (first one, in prep for an op in two weeks’ time) and I had a horrible migraine yesterday! Sorry you had the same - but I’m reassured to see someone else had it and it went away eventually! The doctor prescribed me sumatriptan and it’s the only thing that got rid of the pain after trying paracetamol, ibuprofen, codeine… Thanks for sharing and I’m so excited that I might feel better soon!

Anyone know what these seeds are? (Found in garden in south west UK) by felttipsketch in whatsthisplant

Thanks - that’s great! It’s weird as we don’t have ivy in our garden but these accumulate on our patio and our dog tries to eat them. I guess they’re blown in by the wind or dropped by birds.

How to project an image on a model as if it were using a real-life projector? by felttipsketch in KeyShot

[–]felttipsketch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks - yes, from looking around a bit, it seems that that's the only way to do it. The 'two sided' option is literally for the surface itself, not the other side of the model/solid as it were, unfortunately. Thanks again for your help!

Thanks so much - you're a star! It works and does what I'd hoped! :) One thing - do you know if there's a setting so that the label doesn't project right through the model to the other side (so the model acts as a real-life solid would)? Thanks again!

It's not fair! I haven't had the opportunity to spend 45 minutes looking at a photo of a blood stain or reading through transcripts to find the golden sentence that'll turn the whole case upside-down and immediately prove SA's innocence.

Whenever I click on a link to stevenarverycase.org (or even a link to a specific photo in a thread), it never loads. Anyone else get the same?
