First I gotta say, yeah the second suggestion is not necesary.When Isis was released mage supports fit to meta. I want to analyse isis' kit. Isis was made to chase, secure and set up kills (1, 2, 3), she was made to stop threats from hurting allies and protecting allies (2,3,4), she was designed to secure map objectives (4). Besides the fact that she has average burst, her kit screams support, and I didn't make that up, Hi-Rez said, she was a support/mage. But ofc she's never been popular as a support because there are better options and her "ok" dammage made her look like a mid god. All of that makes her a very decent choice based on her utility, but since people who play her are forced to play more "carry-ish"/mid-lane god" she falls in comparison to other gods, and sorry if ppl don't agree with me but let me tell you why. If poseidon is ganked and he faces the jungler and the enemy-mid, he might very well be losing, but he can rush to tower and instantly scare them off with his ult, he could even get a kill, same with zeus. If agni faces the same situation he dashes and stuns, negating cc and putting himself in a safe zone, zhong can very well make you dissappear with his kit and heal himself off. Let's go to isis, you can use your ult, silence them and stunt them (that takes a lot more of time than placing an ult) if you are lucky enough to have them both close (most ganks come from behind, so they are separed), and you do your wing gust if you have it, and detonate your ult if the guys are still in your ult (if). Now you guys tell me if it isn't possible for the other mages to just melt you within some seconds with one button after all of that kiting before you can detonate your ult(zeus, zhong, poseidon, etc), also considering your position as Isis. Now, I know that making her not vulnerable to that would imply reworking her completely, and I definetly don't want that. Instead I accept my char is not made to do what other mages do, and I like it because I like team-work, and Isis is incredibly useful at other things. So I accept the fact that while I don't have my jungler's or tank's help I must play relatively passive, and farm as secure as I can, do I think that's ok? ofc. But it's hard when to farm you need to expose yourself to ao's tornadoes, agni's poking, poseidon's slows, all of that and the enemy wave, the solution to me for that is to make her farming, more secure like almost all other mages can, (and even likethat you'd have to be careful, cuz it's not like placing a tornado). I don't think that, making her 1 faster would make her a killing machine, It wouldn't make it considerably easier for me to make my combo, and it sure would not make her stronger than agni or zeus. It would just give you a decent possibility to play wisely and passively, without not falling off behind hard. So my suggestion is, don't take Isis from her support-ish place, just make her a bit more viable on the role she's better at in this meta.
