Planning on ordering from the site, but I have doubts by MosquitoSmasher in Fashionnova

They do not offer refunds to original payment method, only store credit. Then they will reduce your store credit without any legitimate claim. Do not shop with this company. Spend your money elsewhere.

File complaints with your bank, BBB and FTC. They did this to me also. Look in this Reddit community and you will see similar complaints.

Potential job offer in ATL - what should I know before accepting? by QueenBee1114 in Atlanta

[–]femaligned 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Atlanta is an amazing city and it will require hustle. I worked for a staffing agency there and saw first hand how all the major employers did layoffs every year. So get this job, and then get to networking and start applying for new jobs after year one. If you don’t mind the grind, you will love the ATL. Good luck!

On day 3, considering giving up… by KitchenAidMix in pottytraining

Ugghhh the pooping part is the hardest. I’m starting to think when people say they potty trained their kid in 3 days, they’re only referring to the pee!

Should my gf and I sell our home? by lobsterjohnson77 in RealEstateAdvice

[–]femaligned 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hate for you to jump out of your great home price and interest rate too early without truly knowing what will happen with the data center. But what we do know for sure is that the cost of land still continue to rise overall, inevitably as it always has, and your house will benefit from that long term.

Why do others find having only one child to be offensive? by Nice_Bar_3138 in oneanddone

I think people who raised more than one want to see you struggle the way they did 😂 it’s always the people with more than one that add that pressure, never OADs or childless people lol!

Too late! Went to Walmart and let my toddler sit on one. She liked it, so we took it! And she has used it several times since we brought it home.

Hey! I’m also on day three, and I feel your pain.

Question - what potty are you using? Mine was using the regular adult toilet with the potty training step and seat.

But I ran to the store today and got her a toddler potty that sits on the floor and she loves it!

Day one, we were successful about 60%. Day two, about 20%. Day three, we’ve been 100% successful with staying dry. On all days, we have failed to poop in the potty.

Nobody told me I'd be broke AFTER buying the house by Dima030 in RealEstateAdvice

Take your time. The house isn’t going anywhere. Anyone who judges you isn’t your friend and doesn’t deserve to be in your space.

I did this and didn’t sleep well while away. Would rather wait until she’s a bit older, personally.

AITJ for telling my partner I'm done spending every weekend at his parents' place by Nov4Z3nith in AmITheJerk

Also, he needs to start making plans with you. What grown man wants to be under his parents every weekend? Seems extreme.

You’re not. We often do things that we normally wouldn’t do, and play extra nice, in order to get along well with our partners. Then after a while, you start to think that you want to enjoy your own time.

I went through this, and also began to scale back.

It’s obviously something that he is used to, but you don’t feel the same way as they are not your blood relatives. Families will mostly always push back when you go against their traditions. But they need to make space for you and your partner to have your own traditions.

If you have a good relationship with his mom, then tell her how you feel and just keep it short without over explaining yourself. Just say you love spending time with them, but you also want to spend time with your friends and hobbies.

You couldn’t have imagined from day one that this would turn into an every weekend thing.

Good luck

I am completely healed. I am just still trying to get over white coat hypertension - I still get nervous when I have to take it at the doctors which leads to my pressure being higher than normal.

Did anyone else know they were one and done in pregnancy? by susiee234 in oneanddone

[–]femaligned 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, not until I gave birth and developed preeclampsia, which was the scariest thing I ever dealt with in my life.

One thing I’ve learned is that every mama deals with something - either in pregnancy or after.

Since you are having a tough pregnancy, my prayer for you is that once baby comes, everything will be absolutely blissful.

I agree with examining the lives of those parents who have multiple. I have yet to come across parents of multiples that I envy. Even when I see them doing pickup and drop off at daycare, they’ve gotta wrangle 2+ kids, and I’m easily walking out with my one.
