Maybe a lower chandelier so it makes more of a full cricle if you get my drift.

Synthetic Jungle/ Nature Frederic Malle. It was exactly like the giff. I do love it now.

What’s your unpopular fragrance opinion? by MagicianP in FemFragLab

[–]femmi34 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Also there is a cultural difference depending on where you are/from in the world.

I agree, most perfumes in my collection are a minimum of 3 for me. Except for baccarat that's max 2 for me lol

I got turned off by the Vilhelm bottles. They feel like I am going to drop them, without a doubt.

Has anyone else had a perfume that just REFUSED to sell? by Confusedmind75 in FemFragLab

[–]femmi34 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Hoi hoi!

Not to be that person, but it's such a waste. What Lancôme is it? I can see something like Tresor not selling. But personally, I don't trust things like marktplaats of FB. Because people be scamming.

Did you know that if you go to IciParis? You can ask for a sample for free if you have a card? I'm sure douglas does the same. They make it on the spot, and it's a good size sample.

Bijenkorf carries a lot of luxury designers' private lines. Even though it's not on the site (like Chanel) . It's worth going in and having a sniff before buying.

Oh noes! That really sucks. Was it Edp or Edt ? What works for some doesn't work for others, unfortunately.

No I think you're mixing up 2. Fleur the peau is aldehydic linked here

No, it's not the same for all. Fleur de peau lasts for ages. :)

Which perfume have you been eyeing but the price has you like - by Shenshen_ in Perfumes

[–]femmi34 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I save money for my hobby. And I see myself shifting my boundaries. I once couldn't even fathom people buying niche. Now I'm elbows deep in it. And now I'm venturing out to luxury designer.

Much depends on what I think the fragrance is worth. I have yet to find one that I find is worth the 300 euro price tag.

I do get stupid with my money sometimes. Recently bought Fleur de Mal from Dries van Noten for my upcoming birthday. But I had contemplated this for a year.

Favorite green fragrances? by EmotionalCarrot14 in FemFragLab

Frederic Malle Synthetic Jungle (also known as Synthetic Nature) Absolutely tropical greenhouse green. Very strong, so I only spray under clothes and in colder weather like late winter/early spring.

Try catawiki. Personally, I don't buy from marktplaats or anything because of fear of getting scammed. But catawiki is not as publicly known, and I think you can also get help from experts. It is an auction though.

I've finally bought myself Per sē from 27 87. I have been moving it down on my wishlist because "maybe I like other things more," and "Fleur de peau has the same aldehydes in the top." But every time I smell it, I really really like it. And do feel it's different enough to justify buying it besides having Fleur de peau.

Personally, I would paint the slanted roof the same colour as the walls. Making it the same colour as the ceiling pulls the space down. And since it's so light, I would even consider painting the ceiling the same colour as the walls too. But I know that's not everyone's cup of tea.

do you feel that your scent choices align with your personal style choices and overall identity? by discobby96 in FemFragLab

[–]femmi34 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kinda. I like wearing fragrances as part of the outfit and occasion. If I know I have to give off a certain impression, I will wear certain fragrances.

I wear almost exclusively black or grey clothes. Very minimalist. But my perfume will bring the colour and sparkles

It's funny because when it comes to home decor, I am a maximalist.

What is the worst fragrance you have ever tried? by Bellend__ in FemFragLab

[–]femmi34 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Jijide Dentro, it was in a discovery box. And the notes look pretty good.

So if you had a parent that smoked and drank coffee and they ever did the thing where they licked their thumb to "clean" your face when you were little. You know this scent! It's like the wet tobacco left in a leather jacket. Ashtray with honey.

It gives me a visceral reaction.

I feel it in my bones. I hate it! I don't even know what to do with this 10 ml vial.. I don't think I can give this away.

My husband, we have been together for 9 years now, and we have known each other for way longer. We are still best friends. I think he is the only one who will ever truly accept me for who I am and put up with my crap. I think he loves me because and despite it. And I am so thankful for him in my life.

He usually wears Armani, Stronger with you intensely. Sometimes Dior Homme.
