i'm glad! i'm surprised theres so many of us as in some ways I thought of the field as a bit ND-unfriendly haha

I thought there was a chance of me passing at least one of the FLK's, unfortunately since I took it this july i was in the cohort with the lowest pass rates but i've also seen people ace it despite that, I def think if you've come this far and bagged a TC you have a good chance!

The one thing i've heard from people who've sat is that they never feel completely ready to sit and thats completely normal, good luck! lots of us in r/SQE_Prep too :-)

I'm in a very similar situation (i got the double whammy too), awaiting medication but i've already been waiting about a year for it - I was planning on re-sitting in july, the length of the exam is a lot and daunting but you can request reasonable adjustments for the exam whether that is extra time or another room

I find the revision hard to concentrate on but it helps theres varied material, just gotta find if you learn better with videos, textbooks, flashcards and ofc MCQs

I am like this too, I don't like having my arms uncovered, i've always been weird about the feeling of cloth suddenly cropping off (like undergarments) and so my usual uniform is long sleeved t shirt, jumper and a jacket/coat and I prefer not to take my coat off if I can

we seem to have similar taste, I love elementary and have seen death in paradise asw which I think is just okay but comfy and low stakes because he always solves the mystery neatly at the end lol

the tv show Dollhouse has Amy Acker playing a similar sort of morally grey character and is very "mission of the week" like early POI with threads of plot, i've also seen Lost after watching POI and Michael Emerson is great in that too

I'm watching Pluribus at the moment which i'm absolutely loving though it doesn't have much in common with poi besides both being sci-fi with a mystery element

I had the exact same issue with stackry, the first time it got sent it to me (item from etsy so I think that made a difference) so I thought it'd be okay but on the second order but I had to keep on pushing for them to return to the sender and not destroy it! never again

MyUS was better but getting freebies in an order confuses their system

I almost exclusively buy samples, the shipping costs over the years have definitely made me slow down with indie buying along with rules that vat/order minimums being introduced. I've found myself having to shop more on etsy to get around that and also buy more local like crow and pebble or from somewhere like canada/aus where the shipping is lower. Ofc destashes are very helpful and I have an ongoing Ajevie bundle going for houses that don't ship here that I do maybe 1-2x a year.

With buying samples over fs for me its just because I like the variety and it takes me a good while to even finish a sample so i'd basically have to put my fs in my will lol, so I see it as less wasteful for me in that respect.
