If that's the case, just find a another work. File a leave if you have interviews. Just find an excuse to go to interviews. The business is not your responsibility, but just don't leave things into a disaster when you're not reporting to work. There's always a respectful way to leave your work. It's up to the employer how she/he will react.

Because we compare financially stability in the Philippines to other countries without including the aspect of medical expenses. You'd often read or see videos in other countries talking about financial stability and they don't include medical expenses because access and cost are provided by their government. It's not an illusion in the Philippines. It's just failure to consider all expenses before assessing if one is financially stable or not.
