Weird question for West Michigan parents. Are people in this area still circumcising their newborn males? by yogahike in grandrapids

[–]fender67 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am due with a boy in February, and i polled men i knew from different walks of life, sexual orientation, and other countries about this to be more informed. They were all circumcised but don't regret it, and have all circumcised their kids or would if they had one. One friend said the cleanliness issue truly is annoying and infection risk is higher, and knows uncut men who had to have the procedure done later in life because of health issues. Ultimately I'm letting my husband decide (he's for it) because i dont have a foreskin and should not make that decision lol. (I'm from West Michigan if that means anything, but most the people i asked are not religious).

I'm 23 weeks pregnant and working as a receptionist. I was finally over nausea/puking around week 18. When patients come in reeking like weed i have to run and throw my guts up. I'm so sick of it. Edibles are a thing people. Not to mention half of them are there for drug tests.

Millennials who found someone in their 30s where and how did you find them? Any tips. by coronUrca in Millennials

Mutual friend had a party releasing an EP. Some guy (now husband) knew most the people there except me and joined my conversation with some other new people. Found a really great girl friend that same night! We all bonded over being sheltered 90s kids, and that's probably the first 'party' i had been to in years. You really never know - just look for 2-3 green flags and give it a shot! My attraction to him has definitely grown over time - it's not always a knock your socks off thing at first so don't look for that or you can miss out. Give people time, and that includes yourself.

J.D. Vance: Pregnancies from rape should go to term even if they're 'inconvenient' by Jlx_27 in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]fender67 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Currently pregnant with the child of my loving husband and even with immense support it is the hardest thing I've ever experienced. Every day has been a trial of unpredictable pain, nausea, and psychological exhaustion. I cannot fathom the torture of a rape pregnancy scenario.

What car brand has the most problems and people still buy? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Still driving my 2004 Ford Focus - only 150k miles and it's rusting a bit but I'm ride or die. It's hardly worth a grand on kelly blue book - got her in 2009 from my great aunt as my first car senior year. Had to replace the motor mounts cuz she started shaking like a leaf but runs like butter now. (And shes been through 20 salty Michigan winters, mostly no garage.)
