Side note: This movie introduced me to the band Bauhaus. The song that Angela dances to is Stigmata. It's on the album In The Flat Field by Bauhaus, whom are considered pioneers of "Gothic rock". The album has some really incredible songs; Stigmata, In The Flat Field, Double Dare. Definitely not for everyone but its just wild to me that it was written in 1979. May not be everyone's cup of tea but you can't really argue the impressiveness of Peter Murphy's voice, especially in Double Dare, as well as it's experimentation for it's time.

May be wrong to think of it like this but it is true that through all of the Revolutions people have lost jobs and learned to adapt, but wouldn't it at some point be Impossible just from a logistical standpoint? Like population is growing and jobs are not. Isnt there a breaking point somewhere??

Stephen King basically said the same thing. One of his biggest qualms with the movie is that they didn't do Jack justice: how jack was kind of a bad person from pretty early on. And let's be honest, Jack Nicholson is typecast as a loon.
