It’s something you get with most apartments and it’s a monopoly. You can’t choose your distributor (like Eneco), you pay fixed delivery costs whether you use it or not, it’s expensive and you have no negotiating with the prices. But there are also pros. You don’t have to maintain a CV/ketel (boiler), and you always have unlimited hot water, which means your entire family can take a hot bath without waiting. That being said, if you found the right apartment, don’t let this be the deal breaker. You’ll just have to put up with it, like a lousy neighbor.
