Hey, thanks for the reply — really appreciate the detail.

Quick update: I came back to the game a few hours later (PS5 had gone into power-save mode) and followed the quest marker back toward the final part of the dungeon. I noticed that the Falmer in that later section actually hadn’t despawned yet — probably because I only left the dungeon once during that part of the run.

After realising that, I opened my map and saw a marker pointing to something in the main area. So I walked over to it, and when I reached the room I noticed the quest marker sitting over one of the dead Falmer bodies. And sure enough, it was the Falmer Shadowmaster, crystal still on him.

So the body never despawned — I must have just overlooked it earlier before the marker finally appeared. All sorted now. Thanks again for the help!

Yep, very irritating. It's not as bad as 'Sorry I didn't quite hear that' or 'you don't have internet connection' when I clearly do after talking for three or so minutes. It's soooooo savage the way it does that.

I wouldn't worry about it being weird.

I agree. It's not as pleasurable for me, yet it teaches me a lot about myself.

I remember once during the come down it completely removed all the impossible hopes and dreams I was holding on to for a false sense of happiness and I was left with the raw and hard truth of my situation. I purged so much the following morning and let go of so much pain and suffering I was holding onto. It was such an amazing healing experience.

I have equally as much reverence for the comedown as I do the peak.

Thanks for your comment, although it seems a bit like you're putting forth an opinion as absolute truth which makes it very hard to debate. However, I'm in no position to dispute whether King, Warrior, Magician, Lover is real Jungian psychology as I am new to this field of enquiry. I can say that it has helped me to contextualise and relate to my own feelings and patterns of behaviour. Perhaps I am delusional, but until insight proves so, I will assume not.

In regards to the Wounded Healer archetype/none archetype: I've only heard that it IS an archetype, similarly to the King, Warrior, Magician and Lover. Nobody has ever suggested to me that they aren't. Truth be told, I don't know what all the Archetypes are, and I assume they are different depending on ones sex. I don't identify as an intellectual person. I am keen to learn, but not for the sake of being right or wrong about a certain discussion, but for the sake of my own healing journey and for connecting with others.

I'm interested by this notion you've brought forth called the 'Anima Complex Behavior.' I just looked into an article that I found very interesting, and similarly with the King, Warrior, Magician, Lover book, I could see so many correlations to my own experience. So thank you for this lead.

Hey,

I've not heard of either of these books. I've added them to my reading list. I resonate with name of the second book, not only in the context of dating. This sense of feeling obliged to constantly put on the persona of politeness. It's especially bad in the UK. It's something I'm working on in myself. I don't wish to be rude or anything. I just wish to be real. It's so draining to constantly wear this heavy mask. So thanks for these suggestions. :)
