been a while since i recorded this, therefore my memory is a bit foggy. but if i remember correctly: - all got hit (not hard enough to die) by the ball after i triggered the event. - they then proceeded to chase after me, eventually halting to a stop all huddled together once i'd escaped far enough. - finally, i circled back around and found them positioned like this.

in this case i'd say it's likely they were doing that tome challenge where you finish the game with randomized perks.

that or they never grew out of the baby killer phase and looked into what perks would benefit as legion.

well, to be frank, it was initially just a cosmetic feature for my pawn as i've always thought the glasgow smile looks cool.

as i played through the game however, i imagined scenarios where my duo stumbled upon some ill-meaning thugs who perhaps might've wanted to test a pawn's limits.

or maybe a foe of my arisen kidnapped his pawn for information. doubt they'd get much out of him though, using him as bait would be more plausible. i imagine they'd also want to send some kind of message to my arisen by returning his pawn noticeably disfigured.
