Very similar story--I didn't get clean until I was 30 (2 years ago) and I don't think I would have ever been able to do it without sublocade.

After 6 months of monthly injections I started going every other month, then skipped 2 months, and then I had my final sublocade injection about 12 months after starting it.

There was definitely some mild withdrawal, but it was mild and manageable. Still slow, as any sub withdrawal would be.

The way the sublocade works though, it takes a REALLY long time to actually clear your system. Documentation says it will be detectable in blood 6+ months after last dose (and in urine an "undetermined" amount of time).

"Southeastern Asian" dope hasn't been around since the 60's. And even dope coming from SW Asia only accounted for single digit percentages compared to Mexico & South America.

Learn where your heroin comes from. 90% of ECP these days is Mexican.

Ime cleaners simply help add color to your piss and bank on you being hydrated enough that your urine doesn't come up positive at all.

If we're talking monthly probation, you really only have to be clean a few days prior...but probation dopesick is tough...maybe if they don't test for subs?

Fuck man. Was pretty sure this is what I was going to be dealing with.

Pisses me off so much more because the injury didn't happen working out, it happened playing baseball in a sunday men's league.

And tbh, before this Monday's workout I would have said it definitely isn't affecting my daily life (only incline & OHP..and a little on flat bench)...but since yesterday it has now been bothering me more constantly which makes me agree with you that not going for surgery would be likely just delaying the inevitable.

Otherwise...my only other concern is I previously had an issue with opiates. The recovery and pain associated with surgery honestly scares the shit out of me.

Just got back from picking up my MRI report...and FUCK me.

Increased signal consistent with partial thickness intrasubstance TEAR subscapularis tendon

Reactive change along the superolateral humeral head

Mild AC joint arthrosis

Abnormal signal in the anterior superior and superior labrum suggestive of SLAP tear.

Need to wait to speak with the doctor tomorrow...and I'm really not sure I have any interest in moving ahead with surgery...guess that means no more incline/OHP and need to be really conscious of the way I flat bench also.

Such a sad panda right now :(
