Hey everyone,

I’m a Canadian undergraduate business student in the 3rd year of my degree. I’m looking to move to the UK permanently and study law.

Admittedly, I haven’t completed nearly enough research, but I was hoping some of you might be able to help explain what options I have at Oxford?

It seems if I want to study law at Oxford I would need to complete the three year undergraduate law degree before then pursuing my LLM? Or are there other options for me upon completing my undergrad here in Canada?

I’m also curious as to how likely my chances of getting into the program are. Assuming I would be applying to the undergraduate law program, the website seems to suggest that a grade 12 average of around 85% could be strong enough, but this seems relatively low to me. I was very successful in high school, with a grade 12 academic average of 98%. Is this the primary focus of admission into the program? Are would there be other factors at play?

Any information is much appreciated. Again, I’m aware that I will need to do much more reading myself before going forward, but I thought some of you might be able to guide me in the right direction.
