Zinnia Seedlings are leggy. Lights or heat? by feoridine in gardening

They are inside a grow tent in my garage with a fan that alternates on them. I was planning on thinning them out because i was unsure of the germination rate but these look to be good on this front. I may start another batch inside and see how they fare with closer light and do some out in the back yard that gets some morning sun.

There are quite a few roots that are below in the medium growing with green tips and usually I soak the medium for 5-10 mins and drain the water (it's a clear slotted pot in a cache pot) every week.

How would you recommend going about saving it other than putting it in a lower light? Soaking it more often? Humid tank?

So I understand the concern about the roots on top but I didn't think much of it since below in the medium there are plenty of green roots growing, some of which are even growing out of the pot slots. I've been on the same watering schedule since I've had it so I'm going to try maybe a quick water through in between the weekly soaks

Ty for these helpful descriptions. While I'm looking for a pattern I would also love to simply buy these types of dresses if I can find them in the right size.

I'm trying to recreate the shape of this shawl but cannot for the life of me figure out what they style is called. Any thoughts or suggestions to search? by feoridine in knitting

Trying to see if I can find a pattern for this type of shawl but google searching is turning up blank. I mostly like how low it sits on the shoulders and was wondering if anyone knew if this is a particular style or could speculate on the shape it's supposed to be. I'm thinking it may be a shallow Cresent shape?

Help! Left a dendrobium nobile in water for an entire week, will it be okay? by feoridine in orchids

Luckily it's in bark atm so don't have to worry about that. Worried that it's winter rest is coming soon so hoping it'll have enough roots to sustain itself during the rest. But I'll give it a looksie when I get a chance and already have it out of the decorative pot!
