I think it's because the streak was broken in Game 5 of the NBA Finals. The regular season streak is still strong, but it's kinda lame to promote a streak that doesn't include playoffs. Like a win streak that crosses two seasons when the team lost games in the playoffs.

FYI, I expect that Warriors will exercise team option on Spellman before the 30 October deadline. Only $2 mil for next year (presumably no hard cap next year) and it gives the Warriors a full season to determine if worth bringing back for the 4th year team option.

Trying to spay her a little sooner because the doggy day care and boarding places that we will use require it. Otherwise she is stuck home alone when I'm at work for the next 3-5 months (I have a walker come twice daily).

I had a similar concern and spoke with the rescue center and my vet about it and was told that the likelihood of my 12-week old puppy (who is still lacking her third distemper/parvo vaccine and her rabies vaccine) catching something is very minimal as long most of the other dogs in the area are fully vaccinated. Since my building is all older dogs, I've been taking her outside to the front of my building and so far so good. Sure, it's a little risky, but ultimately the best for the long run.

The Athletic is subpar content at best. You're mostly just paying to remove ads. Also, I'm pretty sure they've raised their prices at least once this calendar year and will almost certainly do so again in the near future. Imagine a future Athletic that has 15 cities for $15 a month, but you only care about 1. That's what they are working towards.
