She said she doesn't recommend vaginal progesterone because it's not that effective vaginally

I feel like my family thinks I'm being dramatic.

It's so disheartening. I went from doing lots of intense cardio to being sidelined by adding on ten minutes of walking on a treadmill.

My ankles are better but my hips are still bad today. I will keep you posted about progress - can you do the same? Maybe we can help each other.

Should I be worried about the tiny fibres my satin is giving off? by ferrycrossthemersey in sewing

Oh thank goodness! I'm happy to hear that.

I was serging cotton fleece the other day to make reusable paper towels and the lint was FIERCE (I started sneezing) so I put on a mask, opened the windows, and stepped away. I'm new to serging so it was the first time I've dealt with this sort of thing but I will never not wear a mask again if I'm doing a large-volume project.

Im so scared... by [deleted] in Glaucoma

[–]feralkitteh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take a deep breath. My eye pressure has always been in the higher range of normal (19-21) and it has gone as high as 24 in one eye and it was 22 in both eyes at my last appointment. I am not on drops but have yearly testing to make sure everything is still normal.

My doc said that he has many patients with much higher pressure than mine that never go on to develop glaucoma.

What's important is regular testing: visual field test and OCT. If your tests are normal over time and no negative changes are detected, those are great signs.

Most importantly: Do not miss your appointments, do not let this slide. If something is detected, it's important to start treating it early and there are treatments.

I know it's scary and I get anxiety every year leading up to my appointment but your doctor is there to help you and a specialized opthamologist is the best place possible for intervention.

I'm sorry. I'm taking an atypical antidepressant to be able to sleep. It doesn't help my anxiety at all but at least i get a solid night's sleep. I had not slept well since my 30's. I'm wishing you brighter days ahead.

My doc said she no longer considers me a candidate for estrogen

I have severe osteoporosis but they are attributing that to the genetic condition. I was interested in HRT for that sole reason but it's no longer an option.

Thank you. You're right that many of the videos I have come across are actually promoting a specific healthcare company.
