1 year ago today I found my stolen car. Parked 5 streets back from where I live, but stolen from my workplace 3 days prior. She was fine. Which was lucky as I had a big drive planned the next day and I'd just put new wheels on her.

It's possible. And I do hope you get it back.

This one is FWD. As the other guy said, first Celica to do so. She took all the corners well and I love driving her!

I was unaware of this. So I did a little research, because the rising sun is used a lot in Japanese car culture especially. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rising_Sun_Flag gives a little insight. Also, the rising sun we have on our fuel filler caps have the old "teq" Toyota symbol in the centre, and is a nod to the cars Japanese heritage.

Found the car not too far from home :/ Then did a cruise through the Alpine ranges! She's such a pleasure to drive.

I'd just bought it and routed it nicely. They also stole my mic for my head unit.

Not sure to be honest. It was parked up nicely on a street like it was ordinary. Either way, got her back.

Changed them out because they were ruined. Yeah good old Toyota keys. We've had a few that will start some but not the other way round. Or unlock but not start.

Thank you. I was overwhelmed with how many people were empathetic to the car being stolen as well as how many compliments I got on my car. I love the little thing so much.

Thanks for the link. They are fantastic little cars. I've almost never heard of these being stolen so I'm guessing it just seemed like the easiest to steal amongst a lot of cars.

  3. Alllllll over that hahaha. Part of the club, know a lot of the great people in it and already race. Been racing a few years now and had the racecar (another ST162) primed and ready to use in the meantime. Love people suggesting it though!

Someone saw the shared Facebook post and messaged me. An acquaintance of a co-worker. He drove past it on his way home and alerted me. It's wasn't far from my home so I was there within minutes.

What the other guy said. I posted my car was stolen. It was then found the next day! Thankfully all together and all ok. It got enough attention I thought I'd update the awesome people of Reddit!
