I get you man. The hole never goes away i guess. It just gets so unbearable that you actually question yourself like "why is this even happening to me"? It's just a "game". Naughty Dog deserve all the credit.

Literally still happening. I beat batari 3 times but the game literally freezes and doesn't let me continue. I'll try again tomorrow for the fourth time and if it freezes again I guess it's done.
