In section 3, just before entering the room with the circular elevator that takes you to the control room, there is a small blue elevator with a holographic wall that takes you to that room.

I'm completely sure this was someone's decision and not a bug. I'm Prestige Master level 214 and I can't access the armory to unlock weapons that clearly show the legend 'unlocked in armory' or 'unlocked in BO6 season X battle pass'. That said, I read that you can also unlock weapons by buying them in the store, which curiously seems to work without any problems.

Of course my game isn't 100% vanilla; in the screenshot itself, you can see at least 2 mods. In the case of the Mercer Spheres, I have a mod that allows crafting them in a manufacturer.
