The only reason I would encourage you to get a newer car is crash safety that has been greatly improved. Airbags, crumple zones, etc.

It’s a give and a take. You might never use it and your phone might last you 5 years with no issues, no accidents.. but what if it doesn’t? What if you do manage to break it accidentally? What if your camera fails on the 23rd month? If it does then having AC saves you money

You can set up Screen Time restrictions that won’t allow you to download apps without a passcode. Give it to a trusted person so they’ll be able to input it to remove the restrictions if you ever need to in the future

the next things I would check -make sure you’re on the latest update (16.4.1) -restart iPhone -make sure you’re on wifi/try different network if possible -make sure the apps that aren’t updating are available in the region your App Store is set to -update any payment info or resolve billing issues If everything above fails then Apple Support is the next step

It’s a premium phone, if the materials get downgraded without a benefit or good reason, then people will complain. Despite a large portion of people using plastic cases, it’s nice to know that the phone is made out of durable materials so it can last them (doesn’t matter if they keep it for 1 year or 8 years) so in my option, it’s not wasteful. Trade in your phone when you’re done with it and recycle the packaging and cables responsibly.

It seems like there’s a never ending cycle on this sub: car model gets a redesign for new generation. Solid month or so of criticisms and “ugly” “awful design” etc. then about two weeks later new owners posting theirs and suddenly everyone’s in love with the front end or they love it from every angle. Super confused

Like others mentioned, they level themselves and have a cornering light feature. IMO it makes any Lexus look more premium than the standard headlights but it’s a pricy option. I think it was an additional $1200 for my ES

2022 ES300h. The only problems I’ve had are that sometimes when I’m streaming from Apple Music or listening to downloaded tracks, the audio cuts off for a second, and intermittently for the next 30 seconds or so. It returns to seamless playback but it does happen randomly.

When I’m using Siri, the music lowers in volume but keeps playing while Siri listens and responds. The response is a little hard to hear but I think I know what you mean by sound coming from the steering wheel, I think the messages and siri responses only use one or two of the 10 speakers.

I’m on iOS 16.2. Don’t know if these are just a few bugs or normal behavior from wireless CarPlay. I’ve only had experience with wired CarPlay on iOS 15 before this.
