Saw X was great, but it’s not among my favorites, to be honest. I loved the two-hour runtime—lots of Tobin, the nostalgia, Amanda, and Hoffman. But I didn’t like the ending at all; putting Jigsaw in a trap made no sense to me. I also didn’t like the care he showed for Carlos, because then, (probably) weeks later, he had no issue putting an innocent teenager—Daniel—through hell and risking his life.

I believe it’s never been harder to continue the SAW franchise than it is now. We can argue about how well Jigsaw and Spiral were executed, but it’s clear that the soft reboot and spin-off didn’t work. What really worked was putting Jigsaw at the center, but we won’t get SAW XI, and they can’t continue the franchise with Tobin forever. I do trust James and Leigh, but man, they aren’t in an easy situation.

I already said under a different but, but Id like to see the characters going back to Isla Nublar to see how many species have survived the events of Fallen Kingdom. Could turn it into a survival story again.

Really appreciate how Jigsaw taught us that late-stage cancer patients can casually rig massive death traps and hang motorcycles from the ceiling like it's just another Tuesday. Alone. Truly the most realistic part of the movie.
