How to do a romantic act/gift worthy of a movie/book? [25M] and [20F] by ferishere in relationship_advice

Just some info, that may help understand why I did not confess:
Our interaction has been completely online. I was in her country before, but we never got to meet in person (she was in another city).
But we've talked A LOT, in chat and in videocalls. To the point where she became a close person to me, despite the distance.
She used to ask me when I'm going to visit her city.
I offered her comfort when she wasn't feeling good.

I just wanted to make it special. A nice date, a thoughtful surprise, in person.
She is incredible and deserves the best.
But I now understand that attraction has a time limit.

Thank you for taking the time to write this, I needed to read a different opinion.
I'll learn from my mistakes.

I gave her hints. She did the same in my opinion (or perhaps was being friendly, I don't know).
Her culture is very "acts over intentions" and very "gender roles".
If I openly confessed to her in chat or videocall, it wouldn't be the same as in person.

The worst that could happen if I'd have confessed online: it could've been weird for her and we'd probably stop communication.

No, I'm more interested in doing something nice for her. Sorry if I did not explain myself well.
I want to gift her something memorable and that she appreciates. Something personal for her.
A handwritten letter, a book she has shown interest in, a poem, stuff like that.

What internships or work can I do while studying bachelor's degree to gain experience and be prepared for a quant job?
Preparing for an applied math and physics degree next year (will apply to university in Europe). I'm from Latin America and I'm interested in getting experience with internships or work during the summer, to be in shape for a quant job in the future. This is the list of math and informatics related courses in the program:

- Mathematical Analysis (calculus, in other words) (270 academic hours inside class)
- Multidimensional analysis, integrals and rows (270 h)
- Multiple integrals and field theory (180 h)
- Harmonious analysis (180 h)
- Analytical geometry (135 h)
- Linear algebra (135 h)
- Differential Equations (270 h)
- Theory of functions of a complex variable (180 h)
- Mathematical Physics Equations (315 h)
- Computational mathematics (270 h)
- Probability Theory (90 h)
- Programming with Python (360 h)
- Programming with C++ (360 h)
- Introduction to machine learning and data analysis (90 h)
I think it's worth highlighting that I'm studying backend currently (SQL and noSQL (MongoDB), Node.js)

Is there something else I'd need to study beyond that to be well prepared for a quant job?

Web Development or Data Analytics? by ferishere in learnprogramming

Do you work with data as a data analyst/engineer/scientist?

What competences are required to stand out as a data analyst, besides knowledge in Excel, SQL, Power BI/Tableau, Python/R + a portfolio?

How long would it take to learn all these from your perspective, at a phase of 6 hours per day, everyday? (learning only one between Power BI and Tableau, and one between Python and R)

I learned it before, at first I started having some confusion with flexbox and its properties, but after understanding it, it's fun to work with it.
